Yellowstone is yet another amazing National Park.  Each park we have seen has its' own unique qualities. Yellowstone has many different features as you drive the two main loops. Thermals, geysers, hot springs, mud pots, travertine terraces, rugged mountains, expansive valleys, lakes, waterfalls and SNOW anytime of the year...be ready for the pass you might want to see to be closed on any particular day.  By the way, it also has many varieties of wildlife...some you see and some you don't....watch out for that sneaky bear.

Here's a sample of what we saw.  What we found in Yellowstone and other parks is that some vistas we were not able to capture....you had to be there.

Cowboys herding Bison back into the Park. Annual event to remove them from the community of West Yellowstone.
Bison calves are born in April and May.
Some are more friendly than others.

We spent our time at Salt Lake City getting our hair cut and hanging around Temple Square.  Were privileged to experience the Mormon Tabernacle Choir in concert on Sunday Morning....

Also had an opportunity to attend an organ recital in the Tabernacle....the acoustics are amazing.

Toured Temple Square with two Mormon "Sisters" who were spending an 18 month missionary calling at the Square.

Bryce Canyon....9,115 ft elevation...we were breathless both at the sights and lack of oxygen during our hikes.  This is the park of the "Hoodoos", spires and odd shaped rocks. Different experience from Zion as we were again, like the Grand Canyon, looking down at the magnificent sights. Enjoy the photos.

Heading for Salt Lake City......
