Our travels then took us to Canada, Winnipeg and Kenora, with a stop at Thief River Falls MN. to visit a historic Soo Line RR Station. Gordon's Father and Grandfather worked for the Soo Line. Gordon's mother was born and raised in Winnipeg and the family traveled by train to Winnipeg (and on to Kenora) many Summers.
When we arrived in Winnipeg we continued the RR theme. Stopped by the Union Station which has been preserved and offers limited train service to Eastern and Western Canada.
