Ok, it has been a long time since we updated.....having too much fun in the sun.  Fortunately "Sandy" missed us, just got a bit of the winds.  Have been in touch with our friends in North Carolina and Baltimore and they weathered the storm ok.

We are staying at Lazydays, a large RV sales, service and campground facility on the East side of Tampa.  Great campground with pool, tennis courts, restaurant.  While here we have been meeting some of our fellow travelers.  We have also had some warrantee service on our coach.  Lazydays also has classes each day on various aspects of RVing.  We took a class on the electrical system and general ongoing maintenance issues.....very informative. We also have looked at the majority of the rv inventory....whew!  They have a tremendous inventory and we thought we might "fall in love" with another coach...not a chance...we love what we have, works great for us.  The following pictures are from Lazydays. We will be moving to the West side of Tampa tomorrow for the month of November, closer to the beaches and other attractions.

Samantha, our service advisor......did a super job for us

We arrived in Florida!  Our path brought us to St Augustine and a park right across the street from the beach.

The beach we walked at sunrise.

Brunswick, Georgia is home to St Simons and Jekyll Islands. St Simons hosts the McGladrey PGA golf tournament and professional golfer Davis Love III has a home on the island. The tournament started the day we left town so Gordon had to withdraw with a promise to return some other year. Most of our time was spent visiting the beaches.....

We stayed at very nice rv park.....

It was very easy to walk through the city of Savannah. We enjoyed the many squares with gardens and monuments surrounded by historic residences and buildings.

Location where Forrest Gump sat in the park.

Writer, Flannery O'Connor's childhood home
Birthplace of Juliette Gordon Low, founder of the Girl Scouts.

The Savannah River borders the historic district and is a waterway for international shipping.....
