GRAND CANYON!!  This was a very difficult task as we took many, many pictures. We have sorted our favorites to share with you.  We accessed the Canyon through Williams, Arizona and traveled 2 hours by vintage train to the South Rim of the Canyon spending one night at a lodge close to the Rim.  This is the first time we have been away overnight from our RV and experienced some "separation anxiety."  The trip to the Canyon started out with a Western gun fight......

Sheriff facing down the bad guys
We boarded the train for the Canyon......

Serenaded while on the train....

We spent our time at the Canyon by being amazed at every sight. Standing next to a 10 yr old boy who exclaimed..."it looks fake" confirmed for us how hard it is to capture the majesty of this place.

Between our hikes on the Rim and our Tram rides we experienced the following.....

The Bright Angel Trail from the South Rim to the bottom of the Canyon

Phantom Ranch - overnight stay at bottom of Canyon
The Abyss - the point at which you can see the farthest down to the bottom of the Canyon

The Colorado River

Next stop Hoover Dam.......
